Philippe Sincennes survenu le 1 juin 2025.

Philippe comptait plus de 25 ans de service à l’ASFC et travaillait au sein de la division des opérations du renseignement et des enquêtes de la région du grand Toronto.

Pauline Crête

Pauline Crête, survenu le 26 mai 2025.

Pauline a débuté sa carrière comme commis à la salle des comptoirs de la route 15 à St-Bernard-de-Lacolle, et puis comme inspectrice des douanes au commercial et au trafic (Route 15), de même qu’elle a travaillé au sein de l’équipe antidrogue de Montréal (Secteur des frontières), laquelle a terminé sa carrière à Montréal au 400, Place d'Youville.

Lindon McCallum

Lindon McCallum passed away on March 9, 2025.

Throughout his career, Lindon held various positions within the Agency, gaining extensive experience across multiple roles. He began his journey with what was then known as Customs and Excise, starting as a Junior Entry Processing Clerk before transitioning to a Customs Truckman. Lindon also worked in Finance at 1 Front Street and later became a Customs Inspector, now referred to as a Border Services Officer (BSO). In 1996, he joined Compensation, but his career path remained dynamic. He attended training in Rigaud, worked as a BSO in Commercial Operations, and took on assignments as a Program Services Officer and Contraband Program Officer. It was in 2002 that he truly found his professional home in Compensation as a valued and respected member of the GTA Compensation Team.

Mansel R. Legacy

Mansel Legacy passed away on February 28, 2025.

A proud unionist and member of the Customs and Immigration Union Northern Ontario Branch, Mansel Legacy worked as a Customs Inspector in Sault Ste. Marie, and was at the helm of our union for fifteen years, serving as National President from 1981 to 1996 — the second person to occupy the position since the union’s creation in 1966.

Russell MacNeil

Russell MacNeil passed away on February 24, 2025.

Russ grew up in New Waterford and joined the Prince Edward Island police academy in 1975. This grew into a lifelong career in Canada Immigration, Enforcement (CBSA) and Intelligence. He continued in this field until retirement in 2013, making numerous friends along the way. Russ was a friend, mentor and valued colleague.

Karen Dunbar (Hopps)

Karen found her calling in public service and while working as a proud Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Officer in Cornwall and the National Targeting Centre in Ottawa.
